Caldas Novas!

Gente,

Vim dar um update rapidinho da ultima semana que tive lá em Caldas Novas.  Tivemos a Assembleia de Jovens Com Uma Missão - JOCUM, organização missionária da qual faço parte e foi um tempo muito bom de ministrações, descanso, piscinas de águas quentes e tempo de rever muita gente jocumeira espalhada no Brasil..  Não tirei uma foto pois eu aproveitei pra descansar de verdade.  Minha vida durante os ultimos meses se resumiu em muito trabalho, muita reuniao, muita faculdade e muito estagio.  Lá eu consegui até dormir um dia a tarde sem ninguém bater na minha porta :)  

Além do tempo de descanso, algo ficou muito firmado dentro de mim: eu quero ser alguém que caminha sem olhar para trás, sem me importar com as circunstâncias e ter a fé como minha maior amiga, pois eu sei que ela vai me encorajar em tudo nos tempos difíceis.  

Uma coisa que eu quero compartilhar é sobre a questão dos indios no Brasil.  Vou postar um vídeo de uma india que conheci pessoalmente e que precisou fugir de sua tribo para não ter que matar sua filha, que é deficiente e tambem ter que se matar (costume de muitas tribos indigenas no Brasil).  Eu vou pesquisar um pouco mais sobre isso e vou postar no blog tambem. Precisamos parar com o costume de matar criancas indigenas que nascem com deficiencia, é preciso parar com a prática suicida entre os indios tambem.  Você pode fazer parte dessas mudanças.

I just came to give you a update about the last week I had in Caldas Novas.  We were part of a big YWAM's meeting, Youth With a Mission, the organization I am part of and it was a really good time to be listening God, resting time, hot swimming pools and time to see again a lot of people from YWAM Brasil.  I didnt take a picture because I decided to have really a good time to rest.  My life the past days were about a lot of work, a lot of meetings, a lot of college's stuffs, a lot internship.  There I even could sleep over an afternoon without anyone comes to call me at my door :) 

Besides the resting time, something were so strong in me: I wanna be someone who walks without looking behind, without care about circunstances and willing to have Faith as my best friend, I know it will encourage me in every hard situation I may be passing by.

One thing I would like to share its about indians tribes in Brasil. I posted a video from a woman ( I met her at the conference), she had to run away from her tribe to not kill her daughter ( she has a disease she cant walk) and also to not be forced to kill herself (its a tradition in some brazillian indians tribes).  I am going to research a bit more and then post about it here soon.  We need to stop with the practice of killing sick indian children, its necessary to stop the suicide between that people as well.  You can be part of this!!!
